Founders Dinner

On November 11th Mesa Land Trust held a 25th Anniversary Founders Dinner at Two Rivers Winery on The Redlands.  The Founders Dinner gave us an opportunity to acknowledge and honor those who founded Mesa Land Trust.  Their dedication and perseverance have led Mesa Land Trust to what it is today.  As a token of our appreciation, each founder received a framed photograph of the local countryside, taken by wildlife biologist and photographer Steven Wenger.  Those honored were, from left to right, Blaine Derrick, John & Doris Butler, Herman Allmaras,  Harry & Bonnie Talbott, and Jane & Ivan Wood.

The dinner was attended by approximately 100 people including Land Trust staff and board members, donors, easement donors and friends.  It was a lovely and touching evening and everyone had a wonderful time.  Thank you to those that helped make the event possible and everyone who attended.  A special thanks to our underwriters for the event: Victor & Suzan Bernhard; Talbott Farms Inc.; William, Turner & Holmes, P.C.  To view a larger version of the photos, click on an image below.
